What stories does our body tell when it moves? What is the connection between what we do and how we are shaped?
We will look at how the desire to move has shaped our form over time and how, in turn, our architecture continues to inform the way we move, creating an intimate dialogue.
In everyday language, "information" is what comes to us from outside, as a fact, a news, a content. But looking at "in-formation" through the body, it becomes a process in which something takes shape from within, organizes and manifests itself. The body's very form is information in action: a dynamic balance between internal and external forces, between functional needs, spatial relationships and movement intentions.
We will place the spine at the core of this research.
Through elements of danza sensibile, the principles of the axis syllabus and the craniosacral system, we will integrate knowledge and applications to retrace the evolutionary journey that our spine has gone through, in a dance that moves between somatic exploration, anatomical analysis and biomechanics, alternating moments of deep listening dedicated to sensation and moments of dynamism fases focused on coordination.
The transmission unfolds through moments of theory, application, reflection and sharing, offering an accessible way to approach the complexity of the body
This training is for dancers, actors, artists, and researchers who wish to investigation of the body in art and performance, enriching their somatic vocabulary and movement practice. It also open to people with little experience, inclined to encounter the body in terms of knowledge and research, in a safe and non-competitive group environment.
Salotto Somatico program orient to a multifaceted view of the body, celebrating a dialogue between art, health and life.
