Voice to body to voice
Laboratory of vocal practices
Bologna
dates to be confirmed
The workshop is intended for artists of all kinds, dancers and performers, and professionals in the field of teaching and therapy, but it is also a personal research practice from which each person can benefit. It draws its roots from the teachings of the Roy Hart Theatre method, a school dedicated to vocal research and its applications in life and art. In the first part we will prepare for internal and external listening and expression: starting with breathing, through physical and vocal exercises we will go to bring space into our interior, bringing into play the relationships between voice and body, and voice and perception. The second part will be devoted to improvisation and creation exercises, in which interaction, intuition and listening will be important in order to discover, observe, let emerge and recognize what is present, focusing on the Relationship through sound, movement, being and silence. We will explore what underlies language, on an individual and collective level. The intent is to contact and expand that intimate part that begs to be known and calls forth the need for expression, attention and care in art and life.
